Widget for Speedtest Tracker — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-05

This policy covers the “Widget for Speedtest Tracker” mobile app for Android and iOS. The short version: the app collects nothing, and nothing ever leaves your control.

Who we are

Widget for Speedtest Tracker is an open-source companion app for the self-hosted Speedtest Tracker project. For privacy questions, email jeison@lolalabs.io or open an issue on the GitHub repository.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, and no servers of ours to send anything to.

What the app stores, and where

Everything the app knows stays on your device:

Where the app connects

The app talks to exactly one place: the Speedtest Tracker server you configure, using the API token you create there. Requests fetch recent speedtest results and nothing else. If you never configure a server, the app makes no network requests at all and shows sample data.

Data sharing

None. There is no third party to share with.

Data retention and deletion

Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored. To revoke the app’s access to your server, delete its API token in Speedtest Tracker (Settings → API Tokens).

Children’s privacy

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, children included.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes any of the above, this page and its “Last updated” date will change with it.
